First Day of School!
I can't believe the summer is already over! The girls were very excited about going back to school this year. They went to their open house last Thursday and met their teachers. Belicia is going into the 2nd grade and has Mrs. Brown. And Eliana is going into the 4th grade and has Ms. Rode. They both said they were very nice and they like them a lot.
So here is our typical first day of school photo in front of our door.
We are very excited because for the first time, the girls get to wear ANY solid color polo shirt that they want! This of course meant getting pink and purple and "girly" color shirts. After years of wearing navy blue and yellow, I think the girls are quite happy about this.
We drive the girls to school and drop them off. The first day is always a mad house at the school. It seems many parents feel that only their child matters and they tend to forgot manners and rules. But it will soon get better...I hope. Here the girls are walking into school...still excited!
And here they are after school...still smiling. So I guess the first day was pretty good!
