Daytona in December
So we went on a mini-vacation this week to Daytona Beach. The weather was wonderful! High 70s everyday.
We arrived on Thursday and before check-in ate lunch and played a round of putt-putt golf at Pirate's Cove. We love doing this!
On Friday, we drove up the coast (A1A, Beachfront Ave!) to St. Augustine. The drive was lovely...I mean, you can practically spit in the ocean from the road! We went to Ripley's Believe it or Not. It was fun and the girls loved it.
Then we walked over to the fort.
Then we drove over to the lighthouse. It was so cool. 219 steps up! The view from the top was really neat. And of course, I wore my comfy crocs!
Then on Saturday we actually went to the beach! Our condo was right on the water. It was a bit chilly and the water was COLD but that didn't stop the girls.
And of course...this is MY favorite thing to do on the beach!
